How it Happened
How we meet
Our story began in Dayton, Ohio, in 2024. I was there for work, and James, bless his heart, drove a full 15 hours just to meet me! We decided to link up at Walmart – yes, Walmart! – and honestly, we talked for hours. I was a bundle of nerves, but he had this incredible way of making me feel completely at ease. We covered everything, from our families to our wildest dreams. It was one of those rare connections where it felt like we'd known each other forever.
He proposed, I said yes
We were in Miami, Florida, celebrating my 30th birthday, and it was truly magical. James took me to the beach at sunset — the sky was painted with incredible colors. Afterward, we went to dinner, and that's when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was completely surprised and absolutely overjoyed! I said yes without a moment's hesitation. It was hands down the most romantic moment of my life.
Our Engagement Day
We decided to make it official in a beautiful, intimate ceremony with just my cousin there. It was truly a day brimming with love and joy. We exchanged rings, made promises to love each other forever, and created a memory we'll cherish always.
